Y’all getting a haircut is more than just sitting in the chair! 😂 Your head position, posture, and even that phone can affect how your hair falls while it’s being cut. A professional hairstylist is responsible for making sure your haircut is correct, but proper positioning helps us achieve the best results while preserving your length. Baby that group chat can wait! I’m trying to save your inches, not take ’em! 😂 Did you know these little habits could affect your haircut? 👀 #HairEducation #HaircutTips #HealthyHair #HairstylistTips #HeadMistress

Y’all be fighting to keep every inch but that group chat got your head all over the place! 😭Baby the tea can wait! I’m trying to save your inches not take ’em! Be honest how many times does your stylist have to tell you to sit up straight? 😂 #HairTok #HaircutTips #HairEducation #HairstylistHumor #HealthyHair

Y’all wetting your hair every day is not the same as washing it! 😩 Refresh that ponytail without soaking your roots. Trapped moisture and buildup can lead to unwanted odors. Healthy hair starts with better habits! #HealthyHairTips #NaturalHairCare #PonytailTips #HairEducation

Y’all giving Blue Magic all the credit for that long hair, but who was doing the maintenance?! 😭Grandma was doing more than opening that blue jar! So tell me was it the grease or the hair care routine? #bluemagic #hairgrease #naturalhair #healthyhair #hairgrowth

Y’all nobody said sleeping on cotton is the reason everybody’s hair is breaking off. 😭😂 But just because something isn’t the ONLY cause doesn’t mean it can’t contribute to the problem. Satin helps reduce friction, but it doesn’t replace shampooing, conditioning, gentle detangling and proper nighttime maintenance. We gotta stop looking for one product to do the job of an entire hair care routine. 😂 I’ve linked some of my favorite nighttime hair essentials in my Amazon storefront. Link in bio! 💜 Now be honest, y’all think a satin pillowcase makes a difference or is it overrated? #naturalhair #healthyhair #silkpress #satinpillowcase #hairbreakage

Y’all still sleeping in that same cotton scarf from high school?😭 Cotton can absorb moisture, and all that rubbing while you sleep creates friction that can contribute to frizz, tangles and breakage. That’s why I recommend satin or silk scarves and pillowcases. And that satin pillowcase comes in handy when your bonnet disappears in the middle of the night. I’ve linked some of my favorite nighttime hair essentials in my Amazon storefront! 💜 Link in bio. Now be honest y’all sleeping on satin, silk or whatever came with the sheet set? #naturalhair #healthyhair #silkpress #haircare #hairbreakage

Y’all will fight to keep every inch, even when those ends are hanging on like a phone at 2%. The goal of a haircut isn’t to keep making your hair shorter. It’s to remove what needs to go so we can get those ends to a place where we’re maintaining them. Because if those damaged ends keep breaking, you may be losing the same length you’re fighting so hard to keep. So what we doing y’all? Getting the haircut or riding that 2% until it shuts off? 😂 #haircut #healthyhair #naturalhair #hairbreakage #lengthretention

Y’all fighting for every inch but baby. I can see through it. 😭 Keeping damaged ends just to say your hair is long doesn’t always mean you’re keeping that length. If those ends are breaking you may be losing it little by little anyway. So how low are we letting this battery get? 2%? 1%? Or until it shuts all the way off? Follow me because clearly we gotta get these hair routines together. 💜 #silkpress #naturalhair #healthyhair #haircut #hairbreakage

Y’all got enough oil on your hair to fry chicken but it’s still dry. 😭. Just because your hair is shiny doesn’t mean it’s moisturized. Oil can help seal in moisture but it can’t replace hydration and conditioning. We gotta get these hair routines together because adding more oil isn’t always the answer. I’ve linked some of my favorite hair care products in my Amazon storefront. Link in bio! Now be honest, is your hair moisturized or just greasy? 👀 #naturalhair #healthyhair #dryhair #haircare #silkpress hairmoisture naturalhaircare

Y’all really got in those comments saying curly hair doesn’t have to be even. 😭. Let’s clear something up. We’re not talking about curl shrinkage. We’re talking about the actual haircut. Curly hair can be stretched and checked to make sure the haircut is balanced. Yes some haircuts are intentionally designed with different lengths but that’s not what we’re discussing here. Being curly doesn’t mean proper haircutting techniques go out the window. Now let me ask y’all something. If you got a curly haircut and later straightened your hair only to discover that some sections were 2–3 inches longer than others would you be okay with that? Clients and hairstylists I want to hear from both of y’all! #curlyhaircut #curlyhair #naturalhair #haircut #haireducation

Y’all really letting anybody cut your hair?! 😭 Do your research before you book. Look at their work, ask questions and make sure you and your stylist are on the same page before those shears come out. It’s not about being afraid to trust a stylist with your hair. It’s about being confident in who you choose. What makes you feel comfortable enough to trust a stylist with your hair? #haircut #naturalhair #healthyhair #haircare #haireducation

That silk press expired and y’all still trying to renew the subscription. Repeatedly putting direct heat over hair with sweat, oil and product buildup isn’t bringing day one back. And continuing to go over it with heat can increase the risk of heat damage and breakage. At some point let the silk press go. Shampoo/ condition and start fresh. How many times are y’all touching up that silk press? 👀 #silkpress #naturalhair #heatdamage #healthyhair #haircare
